Folding and Collapsible Magnetic Box Options
What is a folding magnetic box? A folding magnetic box is a rigid magnetic-closure box designed so the empty structure can fold or collapse for more efficient storage or shipment. Whether a magnetic box can be made fold-flat depends on its construction and packaging requirements. Not every magnetic box is fold-flat.
Some magnetic-closure boxes can be developed with a folding or collapsible construction so the empty box takes up less space before final setup. This can be useful when packaging needs to be shipped internationally or stored before filling. The final structure depends on the product dimensions, board construction, closure design and finishing requirements. A folding or collapsible construction can reduce empty shipping volume; it does not guarantee a lower freight cost.
A folding magnetic box is not simply a standard magnetic box with a different name. The fold-flat requirement needs to be considered during structural development.
