How We Develop Custom Packaging

Custom box design

Send product dimensions, how the box should open, how the product should sit, artwork and a dieline if you have one. We review fit, structure and print before sampling.

Packaging structures

Common structures include magnetic-closure boxes, lid-and-base rigid boxes, folding paper boxes, mailer boxes and paper tubes. Other constructions, including book-style or drawer-style openings, can be developed during sampling when the product requires them.

Materials

Art paper, greyboard, kraft paper, corrugated board, and molded pulp for inserts or trays. Recycled-paper options can be discussed on quote when they fit the structure.

Printing and finishing

CMYK / 4C and Pantone. Finishing options include foil stamping, embossing, debossing, spot UV, matte lamination and gloss lamination. Soft-touch and other specialty coatings can be reviewed on quote when the structure allows.

Custom inserts

Paper and cardboard inserts, plus molded-pulp trays on the Inserts category. Cavity size is taken from your product.

Prototyping and sampling

Physical samples let you check structure, dimensions, materials, artwork, color, finishing and product fit before mass production. Product pages list 3–7 working days after artwork confirmation. Sample freight is paid by the buyer.

Quality control

Incoming, in-process and outgoing checks are used through the production run. Defect-rate figures are confirmed against the approved sample for each order rather than stated as a fixed site-wide number.

Packaging production

Shenzhen factory, established 2007. Production capacity includes four manufacturing bases, 25 production lines, more than 20,000 m² of plant area and 230 sets of equipment. Mass production lead time is commonly 7–20 days, depending on quantity and specification.
