Industry Packaging Solutions
Custom Packaging Solutions for Different Industries
Packaging structures, materials and finishing options developed around your product, industry requirements and customer experience.
Packaging Built Around the Product
Jiayi Packaging develops custom paper packaging for brands that already know the product and need the pack to fit it. A solution page is not a second product catalog. It explains how industry requirements — bottle height, jewelry cavity, chocolate count, folded garment size, or courier drop — change the structure, board and insert.
The factory in Shenzhen produces rigid boxes, magnetic boxes, folding paper boxes, mailer boxes, paper tubes, paper bags, inserts and related print finishing. The pages below connect those formats to the product types we are asked about most often.
Packaging Solutions by Industry
Different products require different packaging structures, materials and presentation. Explore packaging solutions developed around common product and industry requirements.
Beauty
Cosmetics & Skincare
Bottles, jars, pumps and sets need a fitted cavity, a clean lid face and a structure that still looks right after unboxing.
Explore Solution
Luxury small goods
Jewelry & Watches
Rings, necklaces and small pieces need a shallow, accurate cavity so the item does not slide when the lid opens.
Explore Solution
Fragrance
Perfume & Fragrance
Glass bottles need height, neck and cap clearance locked before the dieline, plus an insert that holds the bottle upright.
Explore Solution
Confectionery
Chocolate & Confectionery
Piece count and tray layout decide the inner size. Seasonal sleeves can change without cutting a new tray die.
Explore Solution
Food service & gift
Food & Beverage
Dry food, bakery and gift food packs use paperboard, kraft or corrugated depending on weight and whether the pack is for shelf or shipping.
Explore Solution
Home fragrance
Candle Packaging
Jar diameter and lid height set the cavity. Gift presentation and parcel shipping are different structures.

Apparel
Fashion & Apparel
Folded garment size, gift versus ship, and whether a paper bag is added after the box, decide the pack.
Explore Solution
Fulfillment
E-commerce
Mailers and shipping boxes are sized for courier handling. Print and unboxing can be added without turning the pack into a rigid gift box.

Skincare
Skincare Packaging
Pumps, droppers and multi-bottle sets need lid clearance and an insert that keeps bottles from knocking during transit.

How We Match Packaging to Your Product
Choosing packaging is not the same as choosing a box from a list. Size, weight, shape, protection, how the product is shown, how it ships, brand graphics and order quantity are reviewed together before a structure is locked.
01
Product Dimensions
Length, width, height, neck, cap and any irregular outline are measured first. A few millimetres of clearance change whether a lid closes cleanly.
02
Product Protection
Glass, plated metal, chocolate, fabric and jars fail in different ways. The insert and board grade follow the risk, not a generic wall thickness.
03
Presentation & Unboxing
A pack opened on a counter is specified differently from a pack opened after a courier drop. Lid style and first visible panel are set here.
04
Packaging Structure
Rigid, magnetic, folding carton, tube, mailer or bag is selected after the product and the opening method are clear — not before.
05
Material Selection
Art paper, greyboard, kraft, corrugated and molded pulp are matched to structure and shipping. Recycled options can be reviewed when they fit the construction.
06
Printing & Finishing
CMYK or Pantone, then foil, emboss, deboss, spot UV and lamination on the panels that actually carry the brand — not on every surface by default.

From Product Requirements to Packaging
A packaging project moves from a brief to a confirmed structure, then to print, sample and production. Timing is confirmed on the quote for that structure, material and quantity.
Product Brief
Product size, quantity, how the pack will be used, and any reference images. This is enough to propose a structure.
Structure Development
Opening style, inner size and insert layout are drawn as a dieline before artwork is treated as final.
Material Selection
Board grade and wrap paper are chosen for the structure and the shipping method.
Artwork & Finishing
Print files are placed on the locked dieline. Foil, emboss and spot UV are positioned on actual panels.
Prototype & Sample
A physical sample is used to check fit, color and finishing before mass production.
Production & Quality Control
Printing, forming and finishing run against the approved sample, with incoming, in-process and outgoing checks.
Packaging Applications
These application pages describe how the same factory formats are specified for different products. They are not case studies and do not list client names.
Cosmetics
Sets, bottles and beauty gifts.
Jewelry
Small cavities and magnetic lids.
Perfume
Bottle height and insert hold.
Chocolate
Counts, trays and gift lids.
Food
Paperboard, kraft and bags.
Fashion
Folded apparel and mailers.
E-commerce
Mailers and unboxing packs.
Custom Development
How structure, sampling and production are run.

Printing, forming and finishing are run in-house across the published production lines.
Quality Control
Incoming, in-process and outgoing checks are made against the approved sample for that order.
Material & Structure Selection
Board, wrap and opening style are chosen together so the pack can be produced as drawn.
International Delivery
Export packing and shipment are arranged after QC. Incoterms and freight are confirmed on the order.
Sustainable Packaging Options
Paper, kraft, corrugated and molded-pulp constructions can be discussed when they fit the product. Claims stay within what the structure actually uses.
FAQ
What packaging solution is right for my product?
Start from the product, not from a box style. Dimensions, weight, how the pack will be opened, and whether it ships as a gift or as a parcel usually decide between a rigid or magnetic box, a folding paper box, a paper tube, a mailer, or a combination with an insert.
Can you customize packaging dimensions and structure?
Yes. Inner size, opening style and insert layout are developed from the product dimensions and presentation requirements. A dieline is confirmed before printing.
How do I choose between rigid boxes and folding boxes?
Rigid and magnetic boxes are often considered when the pack needs a structured presentation or a heavier product. Folding paper boxes can be considered for lighter retail packs and programs that need to ship flat. The choice depends on product weight, display and shipping.
Can packaging be designed with custom inserts?
Yes. Card and molded-pulp inserts can be developed around the product outline so bottles, jars, jewelry or sets sit without sliding. Send the product size, or a sample, when you request a quote.
What materials are available for custom packaging?
Common materials include art paper, greyboard, kraft paper and corrugated board. Molded pulp is used where a tray or cavity is required. The board is selected after the structure is clear.
Can you help with packaging structure and artwork?
Yes. Structure, dieline, print method and finishing are reviewed together so foil, spot UV or embossing sit on the correct panel. Artwork can be prepared from your brand files.
Can I request a sample before production?
A physical sample is used to check size, fit, material, print and finishing before mass production. Sample timing depends on structure, material and artwork readiness.
How do I start a packaging project?
Send product dimensions, quantity, the packaging type you have in mind, and any reference images. The team will propose a structure and confirm materials on the quote.
